PHOTOS!!!!!!!!!

YAY!!!!! The Lord blessed us big time with photos of our precious guy and a bunch of his friends at the orphanage with the cake we got him...... 40 new pictures..... oh my and even if I do say so myself he looks HAPPY!!! The only thing.... where are the pictures of him with our care package??? I SO hope those come soon!! I want to see him looking at our pictures and would love to see his reaction too, is that too much to ask??? ;-)

What a fabulous morning to wake up and see his beautiful smiling face! Enjoy pics of our newest addition! Hopefully only 8 weeks max till we go to China!

PROVISIONAL APPROVAL!!!

Whooooo Hooooooo!! Praise the Lord for his provisions.... the Provisional Approval that is!!! ;-)

Moving closer.... if all goes PERFECTLY, (which I am not sure it will since there was a typo on our Provisional Approval and they have to issue us another one....) We could have TA as early as 5 WEEKS!!!!!! OH MY!!!!!!!

I am overjoyed today and much to celebrate this weekend!!!

Getting Impatient!!! ;-)

Well, it has been three + weeks since we sent Levi's care package and no word from the orphanage yet!! It went through Ann at Red Thread, so I am certain it will get there.... we sent it directly to her, then she forwards it and asks for updates. Just LONGING for the morning to see pictures of our little guy with measurements. I really really need to start shopping for him, but don't want to go too crazy until we have an idea of his size! Also, getting impatient on our Provisional Approval notice. It hasn't been quite the full time I don't think, but it should be VERY close!!

We love you already sweet boy and CAN'T WAIT to get you home!!!

Something fun though.... we ordered him a bed with a slide on it! YES, a bed with a slide, and it has an area for a little fort underneath. It is sooooo stinkin cute. Also got him his construction bedding. Has big trucks and signs on it. Very cute quilt. I hope he likes it. Bekah picked it out!! Ordered the girls their bunk beds and can't wait to get those up either. Hopefully in about two weeks we can start getting their rooms together....

LOA!!!!!!!!!!!

WHOOO HOOOOO

Well, the Lord has blessed us with our LOA FINALLY after waiting 49 days since we were logged in with the CCAA! I know we are blessed as things have seemed to slow down a bit since the Chinese New Year, but God's timing is perfect and I had rested in that face, really!!! I know He has this under control and I will be still and wait on Him!

We sent a care package to Levi almost two weeks ago, so hopefully he will be getting it soon along with the cake to his foster family! I cannot believe in just over 2 months we will have our sweet boy in our arms! THANK YOU LORD for you perfect plan for our family! I pray that Levi's heart starts to open up to us as his forever family! Won't be long now Levi!

We were also blessed to be with very good friends when we received LOA. We actually have known them since we got our first China dolls back in 06. It was a wonderful celebration!

Care Package and Cake!!!

We are SOOOO excited to be working with Ann from Red Thread! She is sending a cake to Levi and his foster family for the spring festival holiday and three photos for us and a short letter. As far as we know this is the first he will see us or learn about us. I sent a full care package yesterday. The letter we sent with the cake says that we are sending a big care package shortly behind..... we hope he is excited to have us for a family and we can't wait to get some updates from Ann! We should hopefully get pictures of him with his cake and I hope his foster family! I am going to burst waiting on it! ;-)

I meant to take a photo of his care package but it included:

New PJ's

A new long sleeve shirt

toy cars for him and his foster brother

Candy for him and his foster brother

Presents for his foster parents

Lindt chocolates for the nannies

pencils, bouncy balls, and lollipops to share with all the children

a toy batman computer to hopefully help him learn some english! ;-)

and a book full of photos and captions of our, and now HIS, family!!!

There is another family that is traveling to see his orphanage soon, so we are sending a recordable book and teddy bear with them so they can give it to him directly. We are sooooo excited!!! WE LOVE you already Levi!!!! We are praying for you every day and praying for speedy paperwork the rest of the way buddy!

Waiting is HARD!!

It will be 4 weeks since our LID (log in date). Many people got their LOA's around day 33 ish, so praying the Lord gives us the same mercies!!! I cannot imagine waiting that much longer....

Boy, you would think after doing this twice before that the waiting wouldn't seem sooooo hard and long, but the wait is LONGER now and I have seen his face for longer now than the girls, so maybe that is why it seems harder! We have video of him which is SUCH A BLESSING from our agency and I look at it often and it just brings a smile to my face!! At least we have that!

Looking forward to sending him and the children a cake for Chinese New Year and for him to get his care package!!! I hope he will be happy when he sees our families picture!!! ;-)

LID!!!!!

Well, we are officially logged in as of Jan 7! We sent our dossier Dec. 20th. Boy, 5 months or so to travel sure does seem so far way, but yet it will be here before we know it!!! My heart aches all the time to have him home!!! We are going to be trying to sell the house in March, so I hope the Lord steps in and gets our house sold! I would SO love to get his room done and be all moved in if that is what is going to happen. Not long now little guy!!!
